Nursery Schools

What's the difference between nursery and preschool?
Preschools usually work around a formal curriculum and trained teachers - making them a little more expensive! Nursery schools are usually a more relaxed learning environment and more flexible enrolment terms. They are also cheaper and vary greatly.

What age is a preschooler? Ages up to 4 is considered preschooler with toddlers are 1 - 3 year old bracket. Basically 4-year-old are not 'toddling' around any more and so are no longer toddlers!

What does preschool mean? A preschool, or nursery school, is a pre-primary school, or play school for early childhood education. Preschool is for children before they begin compulsory education at primary school.

Is Pre K considered preschool? Pre K schools are pre-kindergartens.

Good school and dedicated staffs; pupils seem really engaged and enjoy learning though a variety of themes and outdoor activities, my kid love it here. Impressive infrastructure too.

Fantastic school with great leadership, quality teachers and admin staff. My niece went there and did exceptionally well and our daughter transferred there (after waiting list) from a school put in special measures a few years ago; she went from being close to needing special sessions (struggling) to top groups in maths in English in just a term and is much more outgoing and happy too. Very pleased.

I can say that this nursery just totally changed my life in better . My daughter is in Indi and Ruby class and I never saw a more dedicate and wonderfull team . Before I bring my dauther here she used to never listen to me...whatever I will ask her to do she will.just reply no and going to shopping was a total nightmare ...she use to scream and throw everything if I don't buy her what she want ...the list will continue but is no point to.say more. I can just tell that after I enroll .her to Indi and Ruby class I learned how to put boundaries to my dauther . They helped me a lot to understand how I.should behave. She is.now polite and I am less stressed . If you want to.choose a nursery that will help.both you and your kid this is the right one. Indi you are a star and Ruby you are the best .thanks for.all.your help and support ...

Seva School - Primary/Secondary

Eden Rd, Coventry CV2 2SR, UK – 024 7798 7619

A disciplined school that sets the aspiration and forward thinking of children. I feel this sets them up to tackle life in a working career and provides the background support that is lacking in most other schools in the area. The school has a very clear vision and gives children the opportunity to succeed. Like with every educational establishment it is down to the child to put in the effort. I've seen really good progress made by one of my children who has attended this school since it's inception. An overall good school in my view and a lot of hard work and effort has already been consumed to get this establishment to where it is today. I've read a lot of bad reviews by Parents who are not happy with elements of the school. I've not experienced any of those nor have my children. I encourage others to air their views directly with the school; albeit positive or negative. Through dialogue and communication we can collectively make this school the success it is destined to be.

son is going to this school. till now no complaint. good discipline and curriculum

Cardinal Wiseman School

Potters Green Rd, Coventry CV2 2AJ, UK – 024 7661 7231

This school is great they got a farm were there are lots of farm animal to look at and there education is just fantastic its so good once you finished that school you will become the next Steven Huckens. This school is very SERIOUS about there students chose of clothing only the 6 former are the only ones who are aloud to wear there own clothes but it has to be smart. This school will help you find yourself if you want your child to have a bight future then take your child to this place. :)

As a child I go here and is a standard school where your children can attend to and learn what you would expect them to learn. However the school make a lot of changes throughout the year like we all have line up on the playground in our forms no matter what the weather is so we can be dismissed to lunch and no talking in the corridors . Apart from that and other changes it is a great place to make friends and learn what you need to learn .

Blue Coat Church of England School

Terry Rd, Coventry CV1 2BA, UK – 024 7622 3542

The Beginning 1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. 3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day. 6 And God said, “Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water.” 7 So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it. And it was so. 8 God called the vault “sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day. 9 And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.” And it was so. 10 God called the dry ground “land,” and the gathered waters he called “seas.” And God saw that it was good. 11 Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so. 12 The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. 13 And there was evening, and there was morning—the third day. 14 And God said, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so. 16 God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. 17 God set them in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth, 18 to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fourth day. 20 And God said, “Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky.” 21 So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth.” 23 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fifth day. 24 And God said, “Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind.” And it was so. 25 God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. 26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,[a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” 27  So God created mankind in his own image,     in the image of God he created them;     male and female he created them. 28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” 29 Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so. 31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.

This is a great school and the shows are first class.

Stoke Primary School

Briton Rd, Coventry CV2 4LF, UK – 024 7645 1724

Today, with my business Immersive Theatres, I delivered a 5m digital planetarium experience to 120 Year 5 & 6 students at Stoke Primary School. I was warmly welcomed by the head teacher when I arrived, who, after checking my ID & DBS certificate, helped me settle in before I began setting up. The day was well-organised with all groups arriving on time. The excited but well-behaved students enjoyed peering up at the planetarium night sky, visiting the International Space Station, handling a 4.6 billion year-old meteorite and joining UK scientists in their search for real aliens. The Year 6s were also the first UK students to see the new 360° WWII documentary 'World 2 War'. Thank you Stoke Primary School for a very pleasant visit.
